Three generations, one promise.

Long before “grass-fed” was a label, it was simply how our family raised cattle. Three generations later, ours are still grass-fed and grass-finished, with room to roam and time to grow.

We’re not trying to be the biggest ranch. We’re working to be one of the most trusted.

The ground beef has so much flavor.

We made burgers the evening our box arrived, and the whole family noticed the difference. Everything was well packed and still frozen.

questions

Before you order.

Still wondering? Call or text (214) 656-4474.

How much does half a cow cost?

A half is $1,500 with free shipping. Every size is a flat price: $500 for an eighth, $900 for a quarter, $1,500 for a half and $2,800 for a whole. A $750 deposit reserves a quarter, half or whole; eighths are paid in full up front, with no separate deposit.

Is it really grass-finished?

Yes. Our cattle eat grass from start to finish. They're never finished on grain.

How does shipping work?

Shipping is free. We pack your beef frozen in insulated boxes with dry ice and ship it anywhere in the lower 48. It's at your door in under 3 weeks from the day you order, and we text you a tracking number when it ships. Shipping policy.

Where is it processed?

Right here on our farm, in our own USDA-inspected facility. It's cut to your cut sheet, vacuum-sealed, labeled and flash-frozen.

How much freezer space do I need?

Roughly 2 cubic feet for an eighth, 4–5 cubic feet for a quarter, 8–9 cubic feet for a half, 16–18 cubic feet for a whole. A chest freezer holds a half; a whole needs a large one or two smaller ones.

What's hanging weight vs. take-home weight?

Hanging weight is the carcass weight before it's cut. After trimming and deboning you take home about 65% of it as packaged beef: an eighth hangs at 115–135 lbs and comes home as 75–85 lbs; a quarter hangs at 225–275 lbs and comes home as 150–175 lbs; a half hangs at 450–550 lbs and comes home as 300–350 lbs; a whole hangs at 900–1,100 lbs and comes home as 600–700 lbs.

How long will the beef keep?

It's flash-frozen and vacuum-sealed, so it stays fresh in your freezer for a year or more.

What if I'm not happy with it?

Tell us within 7 days of delivery. Once the beef is back with us, we refund everything you paid, including your deposit. Return shipping is the only cost you cover. Refund policy.
